How can I keep my external usb hard drive stay on one drive mapping?

Everytime I plug my external usb hard drive (160GB lacie), my drive alternates between K, L or M when I search for it with My Computer? Is there any way to keep the drive consistent? I’m using Windows Vista.

Drive letters will change on USB devices based on how many different USB devices you have connected. They will never stay on one certain drive letter. That is just the way USB works. The order they are pluged in determines what device is assigned to what letter.
