I made a huge mistake yesterday! I deleted some important files from my computer, (all because I was having problems with skype) and therefore had to delete all information including some awesome video from matsuri in Chiba, Japan last year. If I can still find my video footage, I will be sure to upload it in a week or two.
Because of this mistake, I had to re-install my whole system =(
I just wanted to make this video so that people can learn from it, it really isn’t fun trying to re-install your total installation disc and information. I am going out to buy a new external hard drive so that if I make another mistake or something serious happens, at least I will have my information stored on another source. I did use some dvd’s to burn some old pictures and video, but I haven’t done that recently. It was time to do it about 2 weeks prior to this incident.
As data storage capacities increase and media becomes more compact and mobile, the risk of lost or stolen data also increases. Ciphertex CX-2500E external 2.5″ drive solution eliminates this risk. Encrypted Data Security with AES 256-bit encryption drive data is absolutely secure. And, instead of slow software encryption the CX-2500E is hardware-encrypted for full speed performance. Encryption/decryption effectively relays SATA data commands to and from the drive in “real time”.
Please post a comment or video response if you have any information about screen recording programs.
I bought a brand new 1 TB (one terabyte) external hard drive because of when I deleted Skype from my Macintosh computer. I had problems and before I knew what was wrong, I had to re-install my whole operating system.

I bought a I-O Data 1TB hard drive, which is compatible for both Windows and Mac. It cost about 8000 yen. Apparently I missed the sale at Yodobashi camera a few weeks ago when it was only 6500 yen. I got this one at Bic Camera in Tenjin, Fukuoka.
I hope that my ‘tutorial’ on how to transfer data from a computer to an external hard drive helps you if you ever wondered how it works!
It’s pretty simple to use one, and I highly recommend it for anyone that records YouTube videos or if you own a video camera and transfer your information to your computer, it can save you hours or days of stress just knowing that your information is safe because you were smart enough to save it on another hard drive!
