Bought this at Sitex Expo 2009. It costs SGD$109. I also did a tutorial for those who bought this and at the same time wanted to use it on a Mac.

    @toxmot a partition is to divide the memory into 2 or 3 parts… i chose 2… i used one part for Macs, and the other one for Windows…

    Tried the same …
    Tried the same thing on a newer 880gb freeagent and it gave me an error. Any idea why I received this error, “Partition failed with the error: File system formatter failed.” Thanks!

    After formatting …
    After formatting the drive in Disk Utility, is there any of the garbage PC software left over or is it completely erased?
