Are laptops good with external hard drives?

If I get a external HDD, it would be disconnected frequently since I move around a lot.

Should I get get a External Hard Drive for my laptop?

Yes, external hard drives are compatible and useful for laptops. Both my sister and I use external drives with our laptops for work and travel – even switching between external hard drives for different purposes. They’re a great way to keep large sized programs and files off of your laptop so that it can run as efficiently as possible and they are, of course, incredibly portable.

Mine works great. I don’t even notice a difference between it and my hard drive for speed. I play movies off of it just fine. It’s a western digital device.
