Around 500GB, but no less. USB powered, so that it doesn’t need to be plugged into a mains socket as well. Must work with Mac. (Fairly) cheap and also in the UK as I live here.

Aslong as your Mac has a USB port it will work. You might not be able to use the defaul software that comes with some of them like encryption or automatic file backup, you can just delete those files ^_^
