I need to buy External Hard Disk Drive and just found out that there are 2 types-
3.5” -Desktop
2.5” -Laptop

So my question is, if I get the one for the Laptop, is there any chance I can use it for the Desktop?

Yes, these drives work with either a desktop or a laptop.

There are some differences. The 3.5" desktop will usually have more storage capacity. But the drive will also be physically larger.

The 2.5" laptop drive will usually have less capacity. But it will also be much smaller and lighter. Small enough to fit in your pocket.

The speed of either drive will be the same at the speed of the hard drive will exceed the speed of the USB port it is connected to.

Unboxing of the new 2009 WD My Book Essential 1TB
First Video, so sorry about the crap quality. Oh and i didn’t rabbit on because i assume you would already know the specs.

All in all its a great hard drive, security lock and automatic firmware/software updates as standard. Automatic back-up however was a pain in the because it just took stupid amount of time. If your using it as a standard extra hard drive space and not going to be regularly backing up your WHOLE computer, then its perfect. Great design and solid make.

Those of you following my channel know,
last year around the holidays i posted my first Blackbook vid “the Hulk piece”, i did that as a Vid experiment. i never imagined that there’d be a crowd that would enjoy it.

then i followed up with the Pen and Ink piece “the savage sword”.
It was inspired by the old Conan comics.

Now, this is the 3rd installment of my BlackBook Piece series.

Had a lot of fun on this one, tried to give a much closer detailed look at the tools and strokes.. hopefully it will satisfy some of the curiousity about how i construct my layouts and detail my highlights.
