Can anyone suggest a FREE program to backup my hard disk drive on an external portablt hard disk drive? I have nero backitup2, but can i use it for this purpose? And what if the drive is currently in use??

How to install TrueCrypt portable onto a USB flash drive or external drive with the TrueCrypt’s installer for Windows. I will also teach you how to make a password protected file container in TrueCrypt Portable and mount it in Windows.

This tutorial only works for the Windows version. I tested the portable version in Ubuntu with WineHQ and it won’t work.
